US indie-folk band Vetiver are to release a new single entitled ‘Wonder Why’, which they have decided to give away to fans for free. The single is due out on 6th June and is the latest track to be taken from their forthcoming fifth album ‘The Errant Charm’, which will be released on 13th June. See below to hear and download ‘Wonder Why’ via Vetiver’s website.
‘The Errant Charm’ is the follow-up to Vetiver’s critically-acclaimed fourth album ‘Tight Knit’, which was released in 2009. Singer-songwriter Andy Cabic, formerly of The Raymond Brake, founded Vetiver in San Fransisco after the break-up of his previous band. They released their eponymous debut in 2004 and have since gone on to tour with the likes of Devendra Banhart. Cabic also co-produced Banhart’s album ‘Cripple Crow’ in 2005.
