Take That’s Robbie Williams Takes Testosterone Injections Twice A Week

Thursday, 02 June 2011 Written by James Conlon

Robbie Williams has confessed that he has testosterone injections twice a week in order to improve his sex drive. The singer, who is currently on Take That’s record-breaking ‘Progress’ tour, claims that he approached a doctor in L.A. in order to request human growth hormone, only to be told that he had the testosterone levels “of a 100-year-old man”.

Speaking in this month's issue of Esquire, Williams said: "I went to get some HGH. It's what all the old fellas are on out there in L.A. Could give you cancer. I weighed that up. Thought I'd have it anyway. Went to see a doctor. He said: 'You don't need HGH. You've got the testosterone of a 100-year-old man'."

The newly-married singer also stated that he believed the idea of marriage is “made-up bull”. In a statement which is set to give his legions of female fans that glimmer of hope, Williams asserted that humans are not designed to be attached to one partner. He said: "I think that we're built to fuck. And marriage, that whole institution, is made-up bull."

However, the ‘Angels’ singer went on to say that his opinions do not mean that he will inevitably be unfaithful to his wife Ayda Field. He said: "Actually, no, because I don't want to break Ayda's heart. That's the last thing I want to do. But I would be way more tempted because at the end of the day I am a man, with the stuff that makes you a man - go forth and multiply. And multiply with absolutely everyone."
