TicketIndex.net Leaves Take That Fans Without Tickets or Refunds

Hundreds of Take That fans have voiced their dissatisfaction after tickets for the band's sold out Progress Live 2011 tour failed to arrive.
The online ticket broker, believed to be operated by serial fraudster David Spanton (Pictured with Margaret Clarke), is currently being investigated by the City of London Police's fraud unit after numerous complaints from fleeced music fans over missing tickets.
Emma Gittens, from Cheshire, paid £700 for seven tickets see Take That live with Robbie Williams at the City of Manchester Stadium on Sunday June 5th, but tickets for the gig haven't arrived. She was sent an email from the company, blaming suppliers.
She told BBC News: "I got an e-mail through a couple of days ago saying their allocation of tickets hadn't been successful and they had tried everything they could to get these tickets."
"I was told I would receive a refund that day but it is still not in my account."
The truth is Ticketindex.net would never have had an allocation of tickets, as they are not an official seller of tickets but merely a reseller. Not a very reputable one based on documented customer experiences.
Take That fans that used the site have been unable to contact anybody at Ticket Index about the problem. Fans don't hold much hope of getting a refund from TicketIndex.net either - a site which appears on Stereoboard's list of suspected scam sites.
A message posted on the company's website on May 26th said: "We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with our phone lines. We are hoping for this to be fixed within the next 2-3 hours."
