Plan B Snubs Jay-Z Collaboration

Plan B has refused an offer to collaborate with Jay-Z in order to raise his profile in the US, it has been revealed. The London-born rapper was told by American label bossed to give the rap mogul a guest spot on his upcoming LP in order to raise his stateside profile, however Plan B (real name Ben Drew) is said to have rejected the offer as he felt it would compromise his material.

Speaking to The Sun, Plan B discussed the possibility of a Jay-Z collaboration before asserting that there would be no place for him on the follow-up to his 2010 release ‘The Defamation Of Strickland Banks’.

He said: "I was like, 'OK, but where we gonna put him?' Obviously, he doesn't sing so they thought he could do my (rapping) bits and I was like, 'Nah, you can f*ck off. No way. Not happening.'"

Plan B continued: "It's no big deal but people aren't forcing things. If I'm too black for the white stations and too white for black stations then I'm f*cked over there anyway, ain't I?"

The rapper's much-anticipated follow-up his hugely-successful 2010 release ‘The Defamation Of Strickland Banks' is expected for release later this year. Meanwhile, Plan B has claimed that he doesn’t think he will be able to crack the American market due to the fact that he is "not prepared to suck cock".
