The Pierces Announce Next Single from New Top 10 Album ‘You & I’

Following news of their fourth album ‘You & I’, which has just charted at Number Four in the UK Albums Chart, New York-based folk-pop duo The Pierces have confirmed details of their next single. ‘It Will Not Be Forgotten’ is due for release on 8th August and is the third track to be taken from ‘You & I’ following recent singles ‘Glorious’ and album opener ‘You’ll Be Mine’. ‘You & I’ was released last week and went straight into the Top 10 at Number Four. Later this week, The Pierces will be beginning their UK tour, which features support from Delta Maid. See below for dates and tickets. They will also be performing at Glastonbury Festival on Sunday 26th June.
Sisters Allison and Catherine Pierce were born in Birmingham, Alabama but are currently based in New York. In 2000, the duo released their eponymous debut album, which was followed by 2005’s ‘Light of the Moon’ and 2007’s ‘Thirteen Tales of Love and Revenge’. Their new album ‘You & I’ was produced by production duo The Darktones, who are made up of Coldplay bassist Guy Berryman and Grammy-winning producer Rik Simpson.
