Cher Lloyd Finds A Fan In Keri Hilson

American singer Keri Hilson has heaped praise on ‘X Factor’ contestant Cher Lloyd, saying that she would love to write a song for the 16-year-old singer. Cher Lloyd first made waves in the singing competition with a cover of Hilson’s version of ‘Turn My Swag On’, and is currently recording her debut album in the United States.

Speaking to MTV, Hilson spoke of the young contestant, saying: "I've never met Cher Lloyd but I attribute. I mean I thank her. I attribute the fact that 'Turn My Swag On', my version, charted here in the UK and other places in Europe actually because of the X Factor performance of my song."

Hilson went on to state that she was “flabbergasted” that a young white girl would use her song as a piece in an audition. She described the ‘X Factor’ audition as a "great moment for [Lloyd] and for [herself] as well".

When Hilson, 28, was asked about Lloyd’s upcoming album, which is said to be inspired by dubstep, Hilson said: "I'm very excited to hear her music. I really can't imagine what her music would sound like. I would actually love to write for her, though. I've got some ideas in my own head…"
