Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Miranda Lambert Win Big At CMT Music Awards

Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Miranda Lambert all managed to collect prizes at last night’s CMT Music Awards.
Taylor Swift picked up the ‘Video of the Year’ award for the video to ‘Mine’, the lead track from her latest LP ‘Speak Now’. Although the singer was scheduled to perform in Milwaukee last night, she collected her award via a video-link with the Nashville arena where the awards were hosted.
Speaking to the camera, Swift said: "I don't know what I did to deserve you guys, but you have made so many amazing things happen in my life." She also went on to thank the video’s director Roman White and "all the little kids who were in the video, and their families for bringing them to Maine."
Swift also opened the ceremony through a three-minute ‘Thelma & Louise’ skit with country icon Shania Twain. The short film featured cameos from Donald Trump, Glee’s Chord Overstreet and Kid Rock.
Justin Bieber managed to pick up 'Collaborative Video of the Year' for his song 'That Should Be Me' with Rascal Flatts, while Miranda Lambert won ‘Female Video of the Year’ for ‘The House That Built Me’.
Another of the night’s big winners was ‘The Voice’ judge Blake Shelton, who won ‘Male Video of the Year’ and ‘Best Web Video of the Year’.
