Bryan Adams Rocks First Night Of Hampton Court Palace Festival

Last night, Wednesday 8th June, Bryan Adams opened Hampton Court Palace Festival to a packed audience for his only UK performance. With an acoustic guitar and accompanied by a grand piano, he performed songs from his critically acclaimed album Bare Bones, and treated the audience to old favourites in the historic setting of Base Court.
“When I was thinking about how I wanted to do this tour, it was really important to me that it was all about the songs and how simple they are, simply stripped back to the bare bones.” said Bryan Adams.
He performed his hits 'I'm going to run to you', 'Everything I do', 'Please Forgive Me' and 'A Night to Remember'. A lone bag-piper joined him for 'Cuts like a knife' and the usually 'civilised' crowd were dancing on their feet in the aisles as he rocked the Palace with 'Summer of 69' under the clear starring skies of the Hampton Court.
Bryan said, “Thanks to everyone that came to Hampton Court gig tonight, beautiful venue, beautiful people. I love England!”
