Tennis Announce New Single, UK Live Dates & Tickets

US indie-pop due Tennis have announced details of a new single entitled ‘Take Me Somewhere’, which is due for release on 18th July. The single is the latest track to be taken from their debut album ‘Cape Dory’, which was released last month. The duo have also unveiled a new video to the track, which you can watch below. Tennis will be kicking off a European tour next month at London’s Cargo venue on Wednesday 6th July before heading over to Canterbury for a performance at Lounge on the Farm festival on Friday 8th July. See below for tickets for the London date.

Tennis are a married couple from Denver, Colorado who recently spent eight months sailing around the USA’s Atlantic coastline. During this time, they wrote songs for ‘Cape Dory’, which was named after their yacht. The album was released on 23rd May this year. ‘Take Me Somewhere’ follows recent single ‘Baltimore’ which, like several of the tracks on ‘Cape Dory, was named after places that the duo visited during their trip. The new London show follows Tennis’s well-received UK tour dates in January.
