Weezer Announce The Gathering North American Arena Tour For Fall

Weezer have announced a North American tour for the fall.

Titled Weezer: The Gathering, the 32-city trek will kick off on September 8 at Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center, and wrap up on October 24 at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena.

Other notable stops include San Francisco’s Chase Center, Chicago’s United Center, Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, Boston’s TD Garden, Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, Austin’s Moody Center ATX and Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena.

Support on the tour will come from The Shins and Silversun Pickups, with tickets for all shows going on general sale at 10am local time on April 3.

Alongside the tour news, Weezer have confirmed they’ll release a new song called Shine Again on April 1, the first taste of their currently untitled new album, their debut for Reprise/Warner Records. 

Additionally, to celebrate the new tour, the band will hold Weezer: The Gathering – Initiation Week in their hometown of Los Angeles over the next week. Events include a trivia night at Barney’s Beanery tonight (March 26) and a pickleball tournament against the band themselves on Monday (March 30), among other surprises. Head here for more details.

Weezer’s new outing follows their 2024 Voyage To The Blue Planet Tour, which celebrated 30 years of their self-titled album (The Blue Album).

They released ’Weezer 30 (Anniversary Super Deluxe)’, a deluxe edition of ’The Blue Album’, in 2024. Their most recent studio albums are 2021’s ’Van Weezer’ and ’OK Human’, which were followed by their ’SZNZ’ EP project in 2022.
