U2 “Still Undecided” Over Glastonbury Setlist

Tuesday, 21 June 2011 Written by James Conlon

U2 are still undecided about their setlist for their headline performance at Glastonbury featival this weekend, according to reports. The Irish rock veterans are set to close the festival this Sunday (June 26th), but are said to still not have confirmed their running order to festival organisers.

Speaking to BBC Radio 1, U2’s drummer Larry Mullen told host Zane Lowe that the band have decided which hits they will be performing, but have yet to decide on which order to perform them in.

Speaking to the radio host, he said: "It's taken a lot of time and energy to figure out what the setlist is going to be. There's a 'Where The Streets Have No Name' camp or there is the more subtle approach where we could build slowly."

Mullen continued: "We've gone through a number of combinations and everyone seems to have a different opinion... We all know who gets his way in the end!"

Meanwhile, the band may not have the smoothest performance at Glastonbury, even after their set is decided. U2 will reportedly be targeted by protestors during their performance this week, after protest group Art Uncut instigated a campaign to draw attention to their supposedly less than clean tax affairs.
