Drunk Amy Winehouse “Pushed On Stage By Bodyguards”

Amy Winehouse was forced on stage by her British bodyguards for her much-criticised performance in Belgrade on Saturday (June 18th), according to reports. Ana Zoe Kida, a member of Winehouse’s support band Zemlja Gruva, claims that the intoxicated singer was struggling to avoid the performance, but was eventually pushed onto the stage area by her bodyguards.
Speaking to The Sun today (June 22nd), Kida stated that she saw the singer being forced on stage during her scheduled performance at Belgrade’s Kalemegdan Park. She said: "Four British bodyguards simply pushed her to step up on stage. She did not want to and was making a scene trying to escape them. It was distressing to see, she obviously needed help."
An official spokesperson for Winehouse has been quick to deny the reports, claiming instead that the singer walked on stage on her own accord accompanied by a friend.
The performance received criticism both in Belgrade and from British viewers, who witnessed Winehouse booed throughout her set which included drunken renditions of her ‘Back To Black’ hits.
Amy Winehouse cancelled the remainder of her European tour dates yesterday, with the following official statement given on her website: “Amy Winehouse is withdrawing from all scheduled performances... Everyone involved wishes to do everything they can to help her return to her best and she will be given as long as it takes for this to happen."
