Foreign Beggars have scheduled a new UK tour for autumn this year, following a string of successful releases including their recent collaboration with Vato Gonzalez for ‘Badman Riddim Jump’ – video below.
One of Britain’s oldest and respected hip-hop groups, Foreign Beggars have been on the scene since 1996 and have a some-what cult following in underground hip-hop culture. But after 2009’s EP Contact with Noisia in 2009, the group have been on an upward spiral and have amassed a much bigger fan-base after combining hip-hop with drum and bass, dubstep, house and breaks.
And now, after a ranger of festival shows and a small break from the scene, Orifice Vulgatron, Metropolis, Dagnabbit and their DJ Nonames will be back and hitting the clubs around the UK this autumn.
Confirmed dates so far include:
12th October – The Fleece, Bristol
13th October – The Highlight, Portsmouth
18th October – Sub 89, Reading
19th October – The Regal, Oxford
26th October – The Liquid Rooms, Edinburgh
27th October – The Reading Rooms, Dundee
3rd November – Koko, London
10th November – The Boiler Room, Guildford
11th November – Clwb Ifor Bach, Cardiff
12th November – Concorde 2, Brighton
