The Smith Westerns to Join Arctic Monkeys on UK Tour

The Arctic Monkeys have announced they will be joined on tour by The Smith Westerns as well as The Vaccines on their up and coming UK Arena tour.
The Monkeys will embark on the tour on Friday the 28th of October, kicking off in Nottingham before travelling around the country. The band also revealed the second single to be released from their latest album ‘Suck it and See’ will be the oddly-titled ‘The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala’, due out on August 15th later this summer.
The Smith Westerns are an alternative rock band from Chicago, Illinois, who have two albums under their belt. Their latest LP ‘Dye it Blonde’ garnered some success in the states, reaching #1 in the U.S. heat charts, and now the American five-piece will join the Arctic Monkeys to take their sound across the pond and into British ears as they play ten dates across the UK with some of the biggest names in indie rock.
