X-Factor finalist Olly Murs has announced that he is ready to release a brand new single in August.
‘Heart Skips a Beat’ will fly on to shelves on August 21st, after being the first single taken from the pop singer’s forthcoming second studio album, which will be released later this year. If you can’t wait to listen to Olly’s new single, you can see its premiere play on Chris Moyle’s breakfast show this Thursday (7th).
The single itself is a tune that Olly claims harnesses a new sound for himself, which he is been working on for the past year following the huge success of his debut last year. ‘Heart Skips a Beat’ also features the hugely promising Brighton duo Rizzle Kicks.
Murs himself is very excited about the single and album releases coming up, and has spoken about the single very positively. You can see a video of him talking about the single below.
“Heart Skips A Beat marks the start of the next chapter for me,” revealed Murs. “The song has a new sound, and getting Rizzle Kicks to feature on it was the icing on the cake. Those guys are amazing!”
