Stereophonics Lining Up New Album and Tour

Welsh rockers Stereophonics are to answer fans prayers after revealing on stage that they have finished their new album – and will tour it extensively.
After a year of writing and recording, with little activity on the road, the Stereophonics are hoping to fire straight back into the music scene with their eighth studio album. It will be the band’s first release since 2009’s ‘Keep Calm and Carry On’, and their first since the death of ex-drummer Stuart Cable. And with most rock albums, a full tour looks likely to follow.
A source at yesterday’s gig in Oxford told Stereoboard: “The (Stereo)phonics put on a strong, energetic performance and were really enjoying themselves on stage. Then Kelly the singer started talking about the new album being done and said they would be putting on a huge tour to go with it. I can’t wait to see them again!”
