Kraftwerk Announce Two Rare Shows In Native Germany

Legendary electronica pioneers Kraftwerk have announced two shows in their native Germany for this October.

Kraftwerk haven’t had a release since 2009’s ‘The Catalogue’, they haven’t brought out fresh material in over seven years after their last studio album ‘Tour de France’, and have been out of the live music scene for a short while since their relentless touring from 2000-2010. But that won't stop the German four piece selling out two concerts in their home country later this year. Kraftwerk fans will be able to see their favourites at two dates in the Kongresshalle Alte Messe in Munich. Tickets are available through Stereoboard now.

Formed in 1970 by current vocalist Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider, who has since left the group, Kraftwerk are seen as one of the first electronic producers to popularise the genre and bring it to mainstream audiences, and are considered as one of the main pioneers in electronica. Through their innovative use of instruments and revolutionary sound, Kraftwerk have inspired and influenced countless bands since their entrance into the music scene over 40 years ago.

Thursday October 13th – Kongresshalle Alte Messe, Munich
