Veteran Punks Killing Joke Announce 2012 UK Tour

Legendary post-punk band Killing Joke have announced a Spring 2012 UK tour, after the success of 2010’s ‘Absolute Dissent’.

The influential rockers will be entertaining Sonisphere this weekend, but have lined-up a tasty seven-date tour for March next year, which will see them kick things off in Bristol’s 02 Academy on March 5th. With dates in London, Manchester, Glasgow, Norwich Wolverhampton and Oxford, you can purchase tickets now through Stereoboard.com

With 14 studio albums under their belt, and a possibility of more to come, Killing Joke are a timeless band who have influenced so many artists since their birth in 1978 that they should probably be receiving royalties from nearly every industrial and metal band under the sun. After a break up in 1996, the band returned to the scene in 2002, and, unlike most reuniting bands of recent years, Killing Joke went straight into the studio to start writing and releasing albums like they had never even broken up.

Now is your chance to catch a veteran band that is still in its prime, as Killing Joke parade their punk around the UK once more. Ticket details and dates can be seen below.

Killing Joke UK & Ireland Tour Dates are as follows:

Mon March 5th 2012 - O2 Academy Bristol, Bristol
Tue March 6th 2012 - Waterfront, Norwich
