Mona have announced ‘Shooting The Moon’ as their new single, the track is available to download now and to coincide with the release a brand new track ‘No Sunshine’ will be made available from July 18th.
The single is the third to come from the Nashville based bands debut album ‘Mona’, which was released on May 16th.

“Shooting The Moon is about going for it. Regardless of if you should, or if some even think you can. It’s a song for the underdog, David facing Goliath.”
2011 has been incredibly busy for the band, they have released their debut album and sold out headline shows all over the country, including The Electric Ballroom and The Garage in London. Mona have also completed support dates with the Kings of Leon and Morrissey.
Mona have also been on the festival circuit playing Glastonbury, last weekend's T In The Park and Oxegen Festival too. They have been confirmed for Reading & Leeds festival in August.
