Treefight For Sunlight Announce More UK Live Dates Ahead of Their September Tour

Danish indie quartet Treefight For Sunlight have confirmed details of some more UK shows ahead of their September tour. In addition to appearances at Latitude Festival and Truck Festival, the band will coincide the performances with several headlining dates at the end of July, following a support slot with They Might Be Giants this Friday. Treefight For Sunlight had previously been due to tour the UK in April, but the dates have since been moved to September. During the same month, the band will be performing at End of the Road festival and Bestival. See below for all Treefight For Sunlight dates and tickets.

Treefight for Sunlight released their eponymous debut album in February this year through Bella Union records. The band originally formed in Copenhagen in Denmark while a number of the group members were still at school. They are now preparing to bring their album over to the UK for a series of shows throughout the summer, starting with a support slot for US rockers They Might Be Giants at London’s KOKO this Friday.

Earlier this year, Treefight For Sunlight’s Christian Rohde Lindinger spoke to Stereoboard about the band, their music and the origin of their rather unusual name. Click here to read the full interview.
