Britpop rockers Toploader have announced an extensive UK tour for this October, following the release of their third studio album ‘Only Human’.
Toploader are a four-piece from Eastbourne, who have sold over 2million records to date. Their debut album ‘Onka’s Big Moka’ sold over 1million copies itself, and remained in the UK top 5 for six months. With their second album, ‘Magic Hotel’, reaching #3 in the charts, the band were looking good and no-one could have predicted their break-up in 2003, after their record label disbanded.
But, fast-forward seven to eight years, and Toploader are back with their latest album which came out last month. The band has a total of 16 dates scheduled so far, including shows at the Jazz Cafe in London and The Journal Tyne Theatre in Newcastle.
