With a double platinum album already under his belt with his debut self-titled album, Olly Murs is excited about his upcoming second album.
Talking to the Daily Star, Olly talks about changing it up "I've actually gone back to my early X Factor style when I was covering Stevie Wonder, a more soulful and funky vibe. For the album we've gone in another direction. It's back to how I was on the show when people first saw me."
Olly's new single 'My Heart Skips A Beat', released on on 21st August, has already taken his sound in a different direction but don't think that the album will all be in that style. "Skips A Beat is a summery record and another new sound for me, bit more street. But I'm not going urban, that's not my vibe. I want the fans to know that.” He continues “I'm not a typical X Factor contestant. People were surprised by the reggae sound and now I'm surprising people again. That's what popstars should do, be creative and surprise people."
