Gallows Announced First Show With New Vocalist Wade MacNeil

Watford-based hardcore punk outfit Gallows have announced their first show with new vocalist Wade MacNeil, just a day after the singer joined the band.

The news also comes not even a week after Wade’s departure from Alexisonfire, who announced their break up last Friday.

Gallows had recently played their last gig with iconic frontman Frank Carter, brother of guitarist Steph, who left the band to continue work with his new project ‘Pure Love’. But, as emotional and hard it was for the band to part ways with their long-time vocalist, they wasted no time securing Wade, who is a self-admitted fan of Gallows.

“Gallows are one of my favourite bands,” MacNeil said. “So when Steph called me the day after Sonisphere, I said yes immediately. I'm a fan of the band first and foremost, so this is an honour.”

Fans may have been expected to wait months for the announcement of a first gig, but again the band wasted no time and have already pencilled in a date at London’s XOYO for the 13th of December. This one-off event is more than likely to sell-out – so make sure you get your tickets ASAP. More dates could be announced in the near future.
