KISS Reveal Potential Song Titles For New Album

It seems glam-rock icons KISS are incapable of keeping out of the news this week. Hot-on-the-heels of their “booting-off” the Michael Jackson tribute concert 'Michael Forever', the band have now decided to reveal some potential song titles for several songs from their eagerly-anticipated new studio album.

The album, which still remains untitled, will be the follow-up to the band's 2009 'Sonic Boom'. The new album is expected to be released sometime In 2012 and according to singer and guitarist Paul Stanley, KISS have finished eight songs for the album, with two more plus “a couple of bonus tracks for different projects” still to be added.

Speaking to Classic Rock Magazine, Paul Stanley revealed his ideas for the album's lead single. “I’d be surprised if the record didn’t start off with ‘Heaven of Hallelujah.’ It’s up-tempo, a great riff, definitive Kiss.” Stanley also reveals a song called 'Born to be a Sinner' and a “terrific” track created by Tommy Thayer called 'Out of This World', which looks to represent Thayer's “Spaceman” character.

As for the “Demon”, it looks as though bassist Gene Simmons will be represented through a track called 'Are You Ready?' “‘Are You Ready?’ is a new track that I worked out, wrote and brought everyone into the studio and said: “Let’s bang this out.”

Another song mentioned was 'Wall of Sound', which, if you ask me, certainly has a KISS kinda ring about it.

Check back to Stereoboard for more developments on the new KISS album as and when they occur.
