Robbie Williams Completes Writing of New Solo Album

Take That’s Robbie Williams did promise to continue his solo career following the pop group’s massive tour - and now he’s proved he’s a man of his word, after it was revealed that Robbie has finished writing the lyrics to what will be his ninth studio album.
And the ‘Millennium’ singer is extremely excited at the prospect of his new record, claiming the new lyrics are some of the best he’s ever written.
Writing to his fans through his blog, Robbie said: “Lyric progress? I wrote everything I needed to finish - aren't I a good boy? I know I like blanket statements about my music - but this album is by far my most consistent.
“We have an embarrassment of riches where singles are concerned - happy days. I wrote out my dream set list for a future tour - Exciting. 'Me and my Monkey' hasn't made it I just don't think I can remember the words should I reconsider?”
Interestingly, Robbie does not currently have a label to release the album through after his deal with EMI expired – meaning there could be a potential tug-of-war over who gets to put out the currently untitled LP.
