Hard-Fi’s new album 'Killer Sounds' is released today, Monday 22nd August.
Speaking on Friday, lead singer Richard Archer, had this to say about the release. “This weekend sees the release of our third album 'Killer Sounds'. We decided to call it that after I saw an article called ‘Killer Sound’, about an artist in Columbia who turns old guns into guitars. I loved the idea of turning something destructive into something creative. It also resonated with me because it sounded like an old 70s reggae compilation and that kind of music has always been an influence on us as a band.
“We spent a long time working on our new album, but we think it's been worth it! Our heart and soul went into making this album, we're very proud of it and itching to get out there and play the new tunes live.”
Hard-Fi will be performing in-store at HMV Oxford Street on TODAY (more info www.hmv.com) and they tour the UK in September, including a sold out show at the Forum on 23rd Sept. If you haven’t got your hands on the album yet, check out the below sampler!
