London-based reggae singer Natty has announced he will be touring the UK this October and November.
Natty, real name Alexander Akiloe Philip Modiano, was born to an Italian father and an African mother, who both had musical tastes on either side of the musical spectrum. As an artist, Natty has done his best to bring those sides together to make one unique genre of music – and he’s done it in amazing fashion.
Blending reggae with pop, and ska with soul, Natty’s one-of-a-kind sound has been making a name for the singer-songwriter across the world – his single ‘Badman’ hit #2 in the Japanese Hot 100, and another single ‘July’ reached #53 in the UK. He has one album under his belt, a 2008 effort which reached #21 in the UK albums chart, and another album soon on the way – things are only looking up for the dreadlocked musician.
