Suburban punkette FOE’s recent offerings have quickly earned her a reputation for excelling beyond expectations. Her new single ‘Deep Water Heart Breaker’ – which came out through independent label Stella Mortos and Vertigo Records – appears to continue this theme.
Over the last six months FOE has become part of various other projects with like-minded musical nomads such as Entrepreneurs and Ghostpoet who recently turned in a twisted remix of ‘Deep Water Heart Breaker’. Another fan of FOE’s border-crossing rock-pop is Steve Lamacq who invited her in for a BBC ‘Introducing Session’.
After supporting the likes of German hard-core band Atari Teenage Riot and Kap Bambino this wig wearing, painted-faced riot grrrl will be heading out on her own first UK tour later this month and filling her days off with Metronomy support dates.
