Evidence of Dilated Peoples Announces New Solo Album, Live Date & Tickets

Evidence, one third of LA hip-hop trio Dilated Peoples, will release his second solo album ‘Cats & Dogs’ on 26th September. The album features guest appearances from a host of other artists including recent chart-topper Aloe Blacc, Wu Tang Clan’s Raekwon, Mobb Deep’s Prodigy, Slug of labelmates Atmosphere, Lil Fame from MOP and his Dilated Peoples’ bandmate Rakaa. Evidence will also be performing in the UK in November as part of the Rhymesayers Tour alongside Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Blueprint and Grieves & Budo – see below for tickets.
‘Cats & Dogs’ is the follow-up to Evidence’s 2007 debut ‘The Weatherman LP’. Dilated Peoples have released five albums to date including 2001’s ‘Expansion Team’ and 2004’s ‘Neighbourhood Watch’. They have previously experienced UK chart success with the singles ‘Worst Comes to Worst’ and ‘This Way’, which featured Kanye West.
In addition to his own solo albums and his work with Dilated Peoples, Evidence has previously worked as a producer on Kanye West’s Grammy-winning debut album ‘The College Dropout’, which won the award for Best Rap Album in 2005. He also co-produces ‘Cats & Dogs’ alongside the likes of well-known hip-hop producers The Alchemist and DJ Premier.
