Soul band The Commitments, featuring Andrew Strong, Robert Arkins, Angeline Ball, Bronagh Gallagher, Michael Aherne, Felim Gormley, Dave Finnegan, Kenneth McCluskey and Dick Massey, have announced dates for their 2012 reunion tour.
In 1991 the film 'The Commitments' was released and captivated the hearts and souls of millions of music lovers. Now, eleven years later, The Commitments will celebrate the 21st anniversary of the the film with a run of UK shows in March 2012. Expect all the songs from the movie, with some extra surprises thrown in, as well as a full-blown show.
After a sell-out run of dates in Ireland earlier this year to celebrate the 20th anniversary, the band are heading to the UK in 2012 for three dates.

March 2012
Mar 15th - Braehead Arena, Glasgow
Mar 16th - Liverpool Echo Arena
Mar 17th - The O2 Arena London
