English indie-rockers Bombay Bicycle Club have revealed the support acts for their up and coming September/October tour.
Informing fans through their official Twitter page, BBC announced that Dry the River would be appearing at all of their UK gigs. Three other bands will share the remaining support slots over certain days – Dog is Dead will join them from September 30th to October 7th, followed by Theme Park from October 9th to the 14th, and finally Lucy Rose from the 16th to the 19th.
The trip will see the band head out on their biggest UK headline tour to date this Autumn, off the back of releasing their third album, ‘A Different Kind of Fix’ on August 29th. After last summer’s acoustic dates, this tour will see the band with guitars fully plugged back in.
Recorded in Hamburg, London and Atlanta, ‘A Different Kind of Fix’ reunites BBC with Jim Abbiss - who produced their debut album - and also introduces them to Ben Allen – noted for his work with Animal Collective - whilst lead singer, Jack Steadman co-produces throughout.
