Enter Shikari to Release New Single ‘Snakepit’ This Month

St Albans’ hardcore rockers Enter Shikari have announced that they are to release ‘Snakepit’, the first single from their as-yet-untitled third album, on 19th September. The track follows recent single ‘Quelle Surprise’, which was released in May, and will be included on the band’s first album since 2009’s ‘Common Dreads’.
‘Snakepit’ will provide a suitable precursor to next month’s live dates – Enter Shikari’s first proper headlining tour in two years. The shows follow the band’s recent performances on the Main Stage at Reading and Leeds. They will be joined on the tour by fellow St Albans group Your Demise and LA’s letlive. Earlier this year, Enter Shikari finished recording their forthcoming third album in Thailand with producer Dan Weller. The album is expected to be released early next year. In July, the band released their new live album and DVD ‘Live from Planet Earth’. However, they recently announced that much of the album’s stock was destroyed by fire at the PIAS distribution warehouse during the London riots.
Enter Shikari recently completed filming for the video to ‘Snakepit’, which is expected to be unveiled ahead of the single’s release later this month.
