Californian soul and rock group Vintage Trouble are heading to the UK for five shows this November, following the success of their debut album ‘The Bomb Shelter Sessions’.
Formed just last year in 2010, the four-piece have enjoyed decent success over here in Britain, making more of an impact on our shores than in their native US. They’ve played on Jools Holland’s show, trended on Twitter, got to #13 best selling digital album on iTunes and even beaten the likes of Rihanna and Glee by reaching #5 on Amazon’s best selling digital album chart. They also topped Amazon’s R&B album chart.
With three shows early this year and appearances on television (including JoAnne Good’s Late Show as well as Jools Holland), the band then managed to secure tour support slots for Queen’s Brian May and Kerry Ellis in May and Bon Jovi in June. It seems the only thing they haven’t done, in fact, is tour the UK as a headline act – and that’s about to change come November time.
