Barbados-born superstar singer Rihanna has collaborated with Coldplay on their new album ‘Mylo Xyloto’, which hits shelves ob October 24th.
The English band have been in the studio working on a new album for the past year and have written ‘Princess of China’ as a duet between them and the S&M singer, who is apparently writing her seventh album right now.
Chris Martin told The Sun how he went about securing a duet with the world-famous artist:
“I was very Hugh Grant-like and spluttering about it. She has such an amazing voice and it's so different to mine. When the vocal happened I thought 'Wow, you sound different' but I think that's also because she was singing a different song to what we are used to hearing from her and it is written by a bloke from Devon.”
Rihanna will be touring the UK this October in a huge trip around the country, with a record-breaking ten shows in London’s 02 Arena. If you want to catch her on tour this autumn, check the dates and details below.
