Michael Forever Concert to be Facebook's First Ever Pay-Per-View Stream

This Saturday’s problem-plagued Michael Forever tribute concert is set to go ahead as Facebook’s first ever pay-per-view event.
The show, set to be held in Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium this weekend, will feature a number of artists performing in a tribute to the King of Pop Michael Jackson. Appearing on stage is MJ’s sibling La Toya Jackson, for her first live show in over 20 years, Christina Aguilera, Ne-Yo and JLS among other performers, with superstar Beyoncé performing via video link.
Now, for those of you who couldn’t afford tickets or simply could not make the trip to Wales, Facebook will have an app built for the purpose of streaming the gig worldwide for their first ever pay-per-view event.
Tribute organisers unveiled the move today via their Facebook page, writing “Saturday's event will be the first ever, live GLOBAL, Pay-Per-View concert on Facebook in the history of entertainment.”. Though the concert is coming up fast, the pricing hasn’t yet been revealed – at the moment, you can simply watch a crew construct the stage for free. With the pricing of the actual tickets one of the many problems MJ fans had with the promoters, could the pay-per-view pricing be another?
