Hailed as one of the hottest underground rappers and key players from the new school of UK talent, 18-year old Sneakbo is causing a storm in the industry with new single ‘The Wave’, which comes out October 23rd.
Produced by one of the scene’s most prolific production duos Ill Blu, and already play-listed on the BBC Radio 1 B-list and a regular fixture on sister station 1Xtra, The Wave has had a massive response and is looking to be a huge hit for the South London rapper. But, who is Sneakbo?
18 year-old Sneakbo is from Brixton, South London. He grew up influenced by Afro Beat and Caribbean Music, and his artistic inspirations include a diverse selection ranging from rappers Tupac and 50 Cent, to harmonica playing D’banj, to reggae singer Mavado to nu-metallers Linkin Park. He has also collaborated with top artists such as Chipmunk, Movado and Angel.
His current mixtape, ‘I’m Buzzin’’, clocked up over 20,000 downloads in just a week – and his video channel has had over six million views on YouTube alone.
