Hurts will release a deluxe edition of their debut album ‘Happiness’ on 31st October which will include additional tracks and a DVD featuring a live concert and all of the bands music videos including the iconic previously online only original ‘Wonderful Life’ video.
Theo and Adam have had an incredible 12 months from the release of their debut album ‘Happiness’. Since then they have become the fastest selling new UK band in the world, already clocking-up over 800,000 albums and more than 1 million singles so far worldwide. With Platinum albums in Germany, Poland, Finland, Switzerland and Russia, Gold in the UK, Austria and Estonia, 800K Facebook followers and more than 43 million youtube views, Hurts have well and truly arrived with style.
Crowned NME’s Best New Band of 2011 at the recent NME Awards and with their debut album 'Happiness' both the NME and Popjustice’s Readers Album Of The Year, Hurts will soon return to the studio to begin work on the follow-up to ‘Happiness’.
The deluxe edition of 'Happiness' will be the first time that all of the band’s songs will be on one format, including live favourites ‘Happiness’ and ‘Confide in Me’, as well as their festive song ‘All I Want for Christmas is New Year’s Day’ which has previously been available on 7” only. It also comes with a DVD of one of the band’s biggest summer shows, at Berlin’s Zitadelle Spandau.
