Madonna World Tour Dates Leaked To Internet?

Madonna fans have been left in limbo today after dates for a potential 2012 world tour were posted on a leading Madge fan forum – only for the star’s publicist Liz Rosenberg to cast them off as fake.
DrownedMadonna.com apparently received an email from an ‘unknown insider’ which contained an image of a Live Nation poster, which you can see below, featuring dates of a Madonna world tour – which would run from March 31st to August 10th. The insider also told the forum that an official press conference would go ahead on Halloween (October 31st) to reveal the tour to the world. But, as well as the dates looking slightly dodgy – the UK has just one stadium date penned in so far – Rosenberg quickly made a statement telling fans the dates weren’t real.
While the leaked sheet of dates looks legitimate with its Live Nation letterhead, the poster doesn’t actually say Madonna’s name anywhere – suggesting that if the dates were actually real, they could easily be another performers – and it’s unlikely a massive star like Madge would perform in Britain just once on a world tour, but twice in Germany. What is interesting, though, is that Madonna is rumoured to be releasing an album at around the time the tour would kick-off – her manager Guy Oseary has already confirmed that she is working on a follow-up to 2008’s ‘Hard Candy’.
So the confusion around the speculated tour isn’t over for Madonna fans, but Stereoboard expects news clearing up the situation will surface in the coming future – and when an official statement is made, Stereoboard will be the first to it.
