Carling and up-and-coming British musician Alice Gold have teamed-up to create the soundtrack for the brand’s new advertising campaign.

‘Wondrous Place’ is familiar to music fans from the iconic version by British music legend Billy Fury, who enjoyed prolific success in the 1960s, even notching up as many chart hits as the Beatles in that decade. Now, in partnership with Carling, Alice Gold has reworked this classic track into a haunting piece packed with energy and subtle magic. 

Described as 'one to watch' by many critics, London singer-songwriter Alice has been quietly building a strong fanbase and this new advert soundtrack has already been viewed over 30,000 times on YouTube, with user comments praising Alice’s version as “fresh for a new audience” and “excellent, astronomical, untainted, taunting and illuminating”.


 
After widespread demand from music fans on YouTube and Facebook, the full-length single version has now been made available for Alice Gold and Carling fans to download via iTunes.
