King Charles Unveils New Video Ahead of UK Tour – Watch Now

Saturday, 22 October 2011 Written by Rob Sleigh

London-based solo artist King Charles has released a new video for his latest single ‘Bam Bam’, which is due out on 28th November. The new video comes just a week ahead of his 15-date UK tour – see below for dates and tickets. ‘Bam Bam’ is the latest single to be taken from King Charles’s forthcoming debut album.

King Charles recently put the finishing touches to his debut album in LA, although most of the record was recorded at home in London last year. In 2009, shortly after the release of his debut EP, King Charles suffered a near-fatal accident that delayed work on his first album until last year. Since then he has toured with Mumford and Sons in the US and become the first British artist to win the prestigious International Songwriting Competition in Nashville, Tennessee.

The forthcoming album hears King Charles borrowing influences from an assortment of genres including Afro-beat, rock and roll, glam, folk, hip-hop, country and pop. The as-yet-untitled album will be preceded by the single ‘Bam Bam’, which will be released on 28th November.
