Following on from Example's #1 smash hits 'Changed The Way You Kiss Me' and 'Stay Awake’, as well as his collaboration with Laidback Luke on 'Natural Disaster', the rapper releases ‘Midnight Run’ – with a new video you can see below.
‘Midnight Run’ is the latest single to be taken from the 29 year-olds third studio album ‘Playing in the Shadows’, which peaked at #1 in the UK Album charts. It was produced by electro house producer Feed Me, a.k.a drum and bass producer Spor. The tune get’s an official release on December 4th, later this year.
It has been quite a year for Example, who kick-started 2011 by featuring on the Wretch 32 #2 smash ‘Unorthodox’. He also bagged one of the biggest hype tracks of the year with the Skream collaboration ‘Shot Yourself in the Foot Again’, which received over 6 million YouTube views, climbed to #1 on HypeMachine and became a viral hit across the world.
As well selling out his third UK headline tour (which includes 18 dates this side of Christmas), Example has announced UK Arena dates for 2012. Fans will also be able to catch Example in the more intimate setting of the Jo Whiley’s Little Noise Sessions next month alongside Elbow, Goldfrapp and Sinead O’Connor, with more exciting announcements to come.
