The Horrors have been forced to cancel further UK tour dates. The band have now postponed shows in Edinburgh (October 19th), Liverpool (October 20th), Oxford (October 21st) and Bristol (October 23rd) due to their frontman's vocal problems.
The 'Skying' band revealed in a statement via their official website www.thehorrors.co.uk that frontman Fari Badwan has had to return to London to see a doctor about occurring problems with his voice. Badwan's statement read:
“To everyone who had planned to come down to the Edinburgh and Liverpool shows: unfortunately I’ve had some problems with my voice in the last few days and am currently on a train back to London to see a Doctor. We made it through last night’s show in Newcastle but I am worse today so have no choice but to cancel… If there was any other solution I would jump on it with more enthusiasm than Josh at a Snoopy-branded accessories fair.”
The Horrors have confirmed they now have to cancel this weekend's shows set for Oxford and Bristol. As far as we know the tour looks set to pick up again on October 24th with a show at Portsmouth's Wedgewood Rooms.
