Charlie Simpson Announces Biggest Solo Show To Date At London's KOKO

Charlie Simpson has today announced his biggest solo show to date at London's KOKO. The date has been confirmed for March 22nd 2012 with further 2012 shows expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Commonly referred to as “that guy from Busted,” Charlieʼs 2011 UK tour showcased his strength as a musician, songwriter and performer. It also proved to be the best possible arena to hear his debut album ʻYoung Pilgrimʼ, which charted at Number Six in the album charts earlier this year.

It has been a sensational 12 months for Charlie. His latest single ʻCemeteryʼ was selected as the iTunes Single Of The Week and has been downloaded over 70,000 times. The lead single from the album ʻDown Down Downʼ was rapturously received by Charlieʼs fans, including Radio 1 DJ Fearne Cotton.

Charlie played a sold-out show at London's Islington Academy last night and brings his curren UK tour to an end this evening in Brighton.
