Pixie Lott Announces Single And Album Release Date

English singer-songwriter Pixie Lott has announced the release date of ‘What Do You Take Me For ft Pusha T’, the second single to be taken from her forthcoming second studio album.

Pixie returned to the scene this summer after a quiet couple of months with brand new single ‘All About Tonight’, which stormed straight to the #1 spot, selling over 88,000 copies in its first week. She follows this up with brand new single ‘What Do You Take Me For’, which features the talents of American rapper Pusha T, on November 7th and her highly anticipated sophomore album ‘Young Foolish Happy’ on the 14th of November.

Pixie launched her album on Halloween with a lavish boat party on the Thames, which also saw a 3D Pixie Lott Halloween video projected onto the side of Old Billingsgate – which you can see embedded below.

‘What Do You Take Me For’ is an intoxicating blend of funk samples and warping basslines and produced by dubstep supreme Rusko. The track features rising rapper Pusha T, recently signed to Kanye West’s label Good Music.

Co-written by Pixie, ‘Young Foolish Happy’ was recorded in both Los Angeles and London and features some rather exciting guest appearances. John Legend plays piano on the beautiful ‘You Win’ and Tinchy Stryder features on ‘Bright Lights (Good Life)’. Also following a chance encounter in LA, when Pixie met her idol Stevie Wonder in a local restaurant, the legend himself offered to play harmonica on ‘Stevie on the Radio’.
