Gallows Announce First EP with New Line-up Ahead of December Dates

Hardcore quintet Gallows have announced details of their new EP ‘Death is Birth’, the band’s first official release with new frontman Wade MacNeil. The EP is due out on 5th December and will feature four new tracks, including the previously-released ‘True Colours’. See below for details and tickets for Gallows’ forthcoming live dates.

‘Death is Birth’ is produced by The Bronx guitarist Joby J Ford, who has previously worked with the likes of Trash Talk and Cerebral Ballzy. A limited-edition vinyl version of ‘Death is Birth’ will be released on 13th November.

Speaking about the new EP, Gallows guitarist Laurent Barnard said: “We’re going back to where we started and working with people we consider Gallows family. The EP is being released on our long-term friend Faz's record label Thirty Days Of Night and the songs were recorded with The Bronx's very own Joby Ford.”

New frontman and former Alexisonfire guitarist Wade MacNeil added: “For me, this record builds on what I've always loved about Gallows. No posturing. No pretense. Four songs like a kick in the teeth.”

In July of this year, Gallows previous frontman Frank Carter announced that he would be leaving the band. After a month of speculation, MacNeil was confirmed as his replacement. Carter performed on Gallows’ first two albums ‘Orchestra of Wolves’ and ‘Grey Britain’. He is currently working on his new project Pure Love.
