Paul Freeman Announces Release Of New Single 'Throwing Stones'

After a successful American tour, sing-songwriter Paul Freeman is all set to release another single on the December 5th – ‘Throwing Stones.’

The Welsh-born wordsmith recently supported Roger Daltrey around the states, and since then, Freeman has been earning excellent reviews for his suave and laid back cool approach to his music.

The Riverfront Times, St Louis said: “Freeman proved himself a consummate performer, from his natural stage banter to superior song writing.”

His style personifies a striking resemblance to that of James Dean, whilst his song writing and singing has the essence of Bruce Springsteen.

His previous single ‘The Girl Who broke In Two’ brought his naturally given talent to the world, and in ‘Throwing Stones’ the singe epitomises coolness with his Springsteen-esque style vocals. Freeman admits to writing the title of the song way before scribbling down any lyrics, a method that most musicians may find a little backwards.

Nonetheless, ‘Throwing Stones’ narrates the story of escapism, something that inspired the young musician on his travels through the small remote and secluded towns of Middle America.

Freeman said: “It’s not just a song about America, it’s about the UK as well…. it’s really just an observation on our modern society and economic status all dressed up in a three minute story about two lovers!”

‘Throwing Stones’ will undoubtedly make a splash in the industry, it will just depend how far ripples will take it. Paul Freeman's album will follow in 2012.
