Red Hot Chili Peppers Release Initial US Tour Dates

Californian rockstars the Red Hot Chili Peppers have revealed the first six dates from their forthcoming ‘I’m With You’ US tour.
The Chilis will rock out venues in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee in January, before they set off on the road to hit up dozens more arenas and concert halls across the country. Then, they’ll be heading around the world – where they’ll be returning to Europe to destroy the Sonisphere stage – with their album of new material.
Tickets for six shows go on sale on December 3rd (dates and details are below!) with more shows and ticket sale dates to be announced in the coming weeks. The 2012 arena tour will be the band's first full-scale tour of the U.S. since 2007, when they hit the road in support of 2006's Stadium Arcadium.
Universally known as one of the most successful acts in rock history, the Red Hot Chili Peppers have sold more than 60million albums worldwide, including five multi-platinum LPs. They’ve even managed to get their hands on six Grammy Awards, including Best Rock Album’ for Stadium Arcadium, ‘Best Rock Performance By a Duo or Group’ for ‘Dani California,’ ‘Best Rock Song’ for ‘Scar Tissue,’ and ‘Best Hard Rock Performance With Vocal’ for ‘Give It Away.’
