The Jezabels Announce UK Tour Dates & Tickets

Following their recent addition to February’s NME Awards Shows, Australian four-piece The Jezabels have announced that they are to follow their date at London’s Koko with a full UK tour. The newly-confirmed dates will precede the official UK release of the band’s debut album ‘Prisoner’, which is due out on 5th March 2012. See below for all UK tour dates and tickets.

The Jezabels released their new single ‘Trycolour’ earlier this week. In September, the band’s debut album reached Number Two in the Australian ARIA chart. New single ‘Trycolour’, the latest to be taken from the album, follows their previously-released track ‘Endless Summer’. At last month’s ARIA Music Awards in Sydney, The Jezabels were nominated for Single of the Year, Best Independent Release and Breakthrough Artist for their 2010 single ‘Dark Storm’.

The Jezabels were formed in Sydney, Australia while all four members were attending the city’s university. In 2009, they released their debut EP ‘The Man is Dead’, which was followed by ‘She’s So Hard’ and last year’s ‘Dark Storm’. The Jezabels have previously supported Canadian duo Tegan and Sara on their Australian tours.

The Jezabels recently completed a major tour of the US and Canada before heading over to the UK for a sold-out date in London in November. The band are currently embarking on their biggest Australian tour to date, which will be followed by their European tour in February and March.
