Imelda May To Follow New Years Eve Concert With New 2012 Live Shows

Irish soul chanteuse Imelda May has revealed dates for new shows in April and May 2012.

Described as KT Tunstall with a funk implant, Imelda May has also announced a special New Years Eve concert at the Royal Theatre and Event Centre, County Mayo on Saturday 31st December.

Imelda May Tickets for her New Years Eve Concert are onsale now.

The singer has recently wrapped-up an Autumn UK tour that saw her play a string of live dates through November. Imelda May has today revealed plans to take her bluesy folk-pop on the road again in April and May next year.

Imelda May 2012 UK Live Dates are as follows:

April 2012

Apr 24th - Bexhill On Sea, De La Warr Pavilion
Apr 26th – Birmingham, Symphony Hall
Apr 28th – Hull, City Hall
Apr 30th – The Sage, Gateshead

May 2012

May 1st – Nottingham, Royal Concert Hall
May 4th – London, Royal Albert Hall

Imelda has shared the stage with a variety of stars including Wanda Jackson, Alison Moyet, Dionne Warwick, Bryan Ferry, Anastasia, The Supremes, Sister Sledge, Scissor Sisters, The Dubliners, Madeleine Peyroux, Matt Bianco, Elvis Costello, Jools Holland, Jeff Beck and Elton John.
