In a move that is likely to send Guns N Roses rumour mills into unheard levels of speculation and gossip-making, original bassist Duff McKagan joined the latest incarnation of the legendary rock band on-stage at a show in Vancouver last night, fuelling rumours that the original line-up would reunite.
The potential reunion has been talk of the town for the last million years (at least) and since it was announced that Guns N’ Roses would be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next year, the rumour mill has been going into overdrive.
Some fans are so desperate to see the original line-up together once again, it would have probably been better if McKagan had not joined Axl Rose and co. on stage for renditions of ‘Civil War’ and ‘You Could Be Mine’ - because if they don’t reunite any time soon, some of them may spontaneously combust.
McKagan’s band Loaded had been supporting the show, so it’s not much of a surprise that McKagan was on-hand – but fans still went absolutely wild after seeing the two back performing together. Now someone’s just got to sort out the problem of Slash vs. Rose...
You can check out a video of McKagan and the band performing below.
